This newsletter is designed to provide information to our Lindale ISD teachers and staff regarding the Teacher Incentive Allotment. There are many factors involved and we will work together over time with feedback and input from various groups such as; district administrators, principals, teachers, etc. to develop our Lindale ISD plan. Many points of data will be included to design a plan with validity and reliability across the board.

Earning the National Board Teacher Certification will give an automatic designation of Recognized. See below for more information. TEA will provide reimbursement for teachers to complete this certification process through the district.

UPDATE: Due to closure in the Spring 2020, Lindale ISD will not participate in Cohort C as planned. We are working diligently to obtain all stakeholder engagement and apply for Cohort D for STAAR subject teachers.

"First Allotment year" is the year where designations would be assigned and funds would flow to districts and teachers the following school year.
