NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL...
Mrs. Cacho, a parent at our school, worked with her company to donate dental goodie bags to each of our students as a part of Children's Dental Health Month. Thank you to Mrs. Cacho for all of her work in organizing all the details of this project.
When we worked with the iReady consultant in January, we learned that 45 minutes of iReady practice weekly in each is sufficient. In fact, we learned that too much iReady practice can become counterproductive. That being said, some students have been so motivated by iReady that they have spent more than the recommended time completing the online instruction with positive results. As a general rule, 45 minutes provides the students with enough practice at their level to meet their general and any stretch goals set for them.
Thank you for your support of the iReady program as a way to individualize reading and math intervention to meet our students' needs.

What is Futsal?
Futsal originated in Uruguay and was quickly adopted throughout South America. It is now played all over the world and is growing rapidly in the United States.
Why is it so great?
Futsal is the ultimate game for helping players to develop skillful and creative tactics, foot skills, and ball control. Futsal is a fast-paced and exciting game that creates players that think quickly on the field and perform well under the pressure of a fast moving game. With on the field teams no larger than 5 vs 5, players are constantly involved in the action and touching the ball on a basketball style court, which has less space than a normal soccer field, encouraging control, finesse and high energy!
