Dear Rocketing Rattler Families,
We are one week out. Please make sure to read through this SMORE for the most recent updates for what school will look like at Ridgetop and things you will need to know to make this year STELLAR!
Just a reminder, as a Dual Language campus, we will put our information out in Spanish first. We want to make sure that our community knows how much we value the Spanish language.
This year is going to be Out of this World.

We will not be doing temperatures checks or require screenings in the mornings. Please do those at home before you come to school. If your student or anyone else is not feeling well or has a fever, please stay home and let us know.
En la Cafetería/In the Cafeteria
Tendremos lugares de almuerzo rotativos con un nivel de grado en la cafetería y un nivel de grado afuera. PK-1 comenzará en la cafetería. Tan pronto como puedan pasar por la fila del almuerzo y administrar sus almuerzos, podremos sacarlos afuera. Por favor practique con ellos abriendo artículos para el almuerzo en casa como palitos de queso y cajas de jugo.
En la cafetería, tendremos las ventanas abiertas (si el clima lo permite) y divisores de plexiglás. Habrá aproximadamente la mitad del número normal de estudiantes en la cafetería al mismo tiempo con aproximadamente un tercio de los estudiantes en una mesa. We will have rotating lunch locations with one grade level in the cafeteria and one grade level outside. PK-1 will start in the cafeteria. As soon as they are able to go through the lunch line and manage their lunches, we will be able to get them outside. Please practice with them on opening from home lunch items like cheese sticks and juice boxes.
In the cafeteria, we will have the windows open(weather permitting) and plexiglass dividers. There will about half the normal number of students in the cafeteria at one time with about a third of the students at a table. Students will sit with the students that they sit near in the classroom. Seating charts will be used in the cafeteria and outside.
Outside students will sit on picnic tables under the breezeway. More details to come. A special thank you to the family that donated the tables for our students.
Breakfast and lunch will be free for all students.

Here is what I do know:
We have a very limited number of Ridgetop students that will be using the virtual option-we will miss you guys and we look forward to you joining us in January.
Virtual students will more than likely not be taught by a Ridgetop teacher.
Virtual students will be clustered with other DL students.
Virtual Special Areas will be asynchronous.
Class sizes may be bigger than normal.

Listas de Clase/Class Lists

Due to the virtual option deadline being extended, we may not have class lists/teacher assignments ready for Meet the Teacher. If this is the case, we would still love for you to come meet the teachers at your grade level. Once we have class lists set, we will send an email out with the teacher assignments.
