As most of you know, our window for enrolling in flexible benefits ends June 11th.
Do you need to meet face-to-face with a counselor to signup for your flexible benefits? A representative from Pierce Group Benefits will be at the central office on May 27th and May 28th to assist any employee. Please call 439-4322 to schedule a face-to-face appointment on May 27th or May 28th.
The benefits briefing video can be accessed by clicking HERE. Please view this prior to making your elections. Your benefits booklet can be found by clicking HERE.
Please remember that you can self-enroll in any of the benefits that we make available by clicking HERE.
User Name: BUR9M5S- then your social security number (example - BUR9M5S-123456789)
Password: Four-year digit of your birth and then last 4 numbers of your social security number (example - 19766789)

Effective October 1, 2020, there will be a change to our Vision provider from Envolve to Superior. Please see your Pierce Group Benefits Counselor for further details. IF YOU DO NOT RE-ENROLL IN VISION INSURANCE COVERAGE, YOUR CURRENT COVERAGE WILL END EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 30, 2020.

Teachers will receive an email from LINQ letting them know they have a contract that needs signing. To sign a contract, simply log into Timekeeper and choose "Contract" from the items listed on the left. After reviewing your contract, you will be asked to enter your PIN. Your PIN is your 4 digit number you use to access Timekeeper.
If anyone has questions about their contract, they can contact Corona Caldwell-Kanipe for assistance at 439-4325.

Did you know Burke County Public Schools' Employee Assistance Program offers a free monthly seminar on a variety of topics? May's topic is Accepting Aging: Yourself and Others. The entire calendar of seminars for 2020 can be found below.
Teachers can now check their CEU's by logging into their TimeKeeper account.
Attached below are the CEU requirements for the 2019-2020 school year. Please notice that teachers are required to earn 2.0 CEU's of digital learning credit.

Do you have a certificate that needs to be added to your CEU report? Click here for the step by step directions on how to submit your certificate.
When entering information in TimeKeeper, make sure the documentation you upload has the number of CEU's (hours) you should be awarded for the professional development activity.
Also, if the professional development activity was in the area of technology, please make sure you choose "Digital Learning". Technology is no longer required. The new term DPI uses for this credit is "Digital Learning".
An appointment is required for any employee that needs to change their legal name. After an employee receives their new driver's license and social security card, they can contact Tammy Huffman at 439-4322 to schedule an appointment to officially change their name with Burke County Public Schools.
