Getting Ready!
- Gift Basket: Please consider donating a gift basket or other door prize that represents your county, community, or agency. We raffle these off throughout the event. Bring it with you to the registration table.
- Prevention Awards: Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination. These are being reviewed through the PIHP's for consideration!
- Agenda: Updated below. There may be a couple of small changes, but we about have it all figured out.
- Stigmatic & Painting Party: Please see below for more information about Stigmatic and the RAISE Painting Party. We are ordering food for Stimatic so would like an idea of how many. The Painting Party has limited sign-up opportunities left. Any open spots will be made on a first-come-first-serve basis at the registration table.
- Physical Activities: Sunday evening, Vicki Kavanaugh is hosting a running group at 6:00. Meet in the conference area with your running shoes. Yoga is being offered Tuesday morning at 7:00. Yoga will take place in the White Pine Ball Room.
- Food Issues: The people who have shared their food sensitivities/allergies/needs with us will either have their needs met by the general conference offerings or will be issued meal tickets at registration.
- Swimming: We are at a water park - bring the right gear for swimming and slides. The locker rooms are being re-vamped, but there is an alternative place for you to use that the hotel assures us we will be convenient and easy.
- Eating: Breakfast and lunch are provided - dinner is on your own.
- Peer-Led Learning: This is a peer-led learning conference. Most of our learning comes from each other.
- Networking: There is a lot of networking built into the event on purpose. Talk to each other, meet new people, learn about new ideas, share your best work!
- CEU's: Will be pre-printed. If you need to leave before the conference is over, we will e-mail you an adjusted CEU certificate.
- What to wear: Dress comfortably and in layers.

Join Barry Schmidt for a viewing and dialogue of Stigmatic. This feature-length documentary explores the crisis from its origins to its present scope. "Stigmatic: Our Opioid Crisis" is composed of interviews with those impacted by opiates, including law enforcement, medical professionals, and people in recovery. Their frank discussions highlight disagreements inside the activities community over controversial new strategies to combat the opioate epidemic. Each diverse perspective points to an undeniable obstacle at the center of the crisis: stigma.
