Robert Hunter Report

Dear Robert Hunter families,
Happy Fall! We hope you are enjoying the start of the fall season with your children. We are excited for all of the upcoming fall activities with our RH students and families!
As shared by Mr. Bland, 4th grade students took the state Start Strong assessment this past week. Grades 1-4 students will be taking the NWEA Map Growth district assessment this week. This assessment will help us to better meet the needs of our students.
There is no school tomorrow, September 26th. We look forward to seeing everyone at Back to School Night on Thursday, September 29th. Please note that Thursday is an early dismissal day, with dismissal occurring at 1:20.

Meet our Bilingual Secretary, Veronica Fetzer
Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Mrs. Veronica Fetzer moved to the USA to pursue a master’s in education at Purdue University in Indiana. She has lived in Peru, Spain, Belgium, Holland, and the USA and speaks English and Spanish fluently. Prior to arriving in Flemington, Mrs. Fetzer had worked as a teacher for 15 years. Mrs. Fetzer moved to Flemington 19 years ago with her husband and son. A few years later her daughter was born. Her son is a junior at TCNJ and her daughter is a sophomore at Hunterdon Central. Since arriving in Flemington, she has been volunteering in the community, particularly at the schools her children have attended. She loves to travel with her family and learn about different people, cultures, and places. Mrs. Fetzer also loves reading, long nature walks, and meditating. She’s a proud member of the community and enjoys helping others. She is very excited to join and collaborate with the RH family to make our community an even better place for everyone.
Back to School Night
We are happy to welcome our families to Back to School Night on September 29, 2022! The Back To School Night schedule gives families the opportunity to meet many of the teachers your child sees throughout the day. Related Arts teachers will be presenting as well as classroom teachers.
Please review the schedule carefully, as you can choose which sessions you will be attending. See the schedule here: Back To School Night Schedule
