Blaze Bulletin

Edition 27- Week of March 28th

Greetings...

Dear Teachers,

Congratulations on the following (all in one week and a short one at that): getting through testing; making the best of a crazy testing schedule; winning the United Way "Best School" award and having a jeans week; winning and competing so well in spring sports; adding MORE students to the ACT recognition wall; helping seniors manage their stress as college acceptances/denials are coming in; celebrating our BCA senior capstone projects; getting a heartfelt shout out/thank you from the Brambles for hosting a fundraiser for Baylor; and.......making it to Spring Break! Go Blaze!

REMINDER...

UPDATE GRADES WEEKLY IN INOW!

Congratulations!!!

Key Club received a bronze award for our donations to the Ronald McDonald House. We also received the "Most Outstanding Club" in our division and 2nd place in the Kentucky-Tennessee District in the Platinum Section (which is all the clubs with more than 85 members).

Shout Out....

Thanks to all of the ROTC cadets who came out and pitched in to help with organizing the tape/lines for the age categories, moving tables, distribution of the eggs, and standing guard at their posts and assisting with the egg hunt.

They were such a great group of kids to work with and we hope we can have them back to assist us again next year! Each Cadet was more than willing to help out in anyway and they all worked together as a team!

On behalf of Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital and our STARS Committee, please express our gratitude to each one of them for their service today at this event! They truly were STARS in their own right!

Amazing gift...

Please see the pictures below. Michaela Rutledge, 2015 graduate and library aide, gave our school library an amazing gift from The Rutledge Foundation; TRF was set up in honor of her father who passed away last spring.
