OFFER A TRUNK SHOW TO EVERY GUEST:
From Star Stylist, Lindsay Oehmen - Any trunk show where you're in front of someone is a GOOD TRUNK SHOW! They all further your business. I had a $280 trunk show with three guests, one became a Stylist and two booked trunk shows. The important thing is to book and prospect by habit - ask everyone! I tell every guest that I'd love to do a trunk show for them. You don't want anyone to feel left out!

From Star Stylist, Nirah Velleneuve - I had a trunk show booked with a hostess who was expecting a larger turnout. She called me a couple of days before to explain that it was going to be very small and asked if we should postpone or cancel. I told her that I love all trunk shows big AND small, and we would still have a great time. While driving there, I actually asked myself if it was going to be worth it - but it sure was! There were only five guests, but it was a fantastic trunk show! It didn't have high sales, but I was able to spend more time with each customer, and really help with their personal styling. It was very casual and fun, and I had a lot of time to chat with each person - two signed up to be Stylists! Those two are now part of my team and I adore them!

From Star Stylist, Laura Alexander: I had one trunk show where I worked with the hostess to improve attendance, but only three guests were able to attend. The hostess considered cancelling, but I told her, "Let's just have fun with out intimate group." Because you never know! Well, those three guests LOVED the jewelry and booked two more shows. The other woman took a Lookbook to work, and she picked up three more orders. When I told the hostess that she did, in fact, earn Style Rewards, she told me she wanted to become a Stylist! Although she decided to wait until after her summer wedding, she just booked another show with me for June. It goes to show, never give up, take any opportunity to share your passion and fabulous accessories. Good things will happen!

If you don't have a lot of Holiday Trunk Shows booked - then try something new!!!
Create a trunk show in your lounge with it's own unique trunk show link. Promote it on Facebook and have a trunk show at your house, or at a friends, or at a restaurant, or wherever! Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Promote your small business and that the taxes generated will go to your community. Offer an incentive to purchase more - for every $50 they spend, get an entry into the mystery hostess rewards, bring a friend to your trunk show, get another entry (for every friend you bring), etc. At the end of the trunk show - draw a name and award the Style Rewards to the winner!!!!!
PARTNER WITH A LOCAL BUSINESS TO PROMOTE THEIR BUSINESS AND YOUR TRUNK SHOW!
I am partnering with Bella Mia on December 3rd and she is going to close her restaurant to the public for the evening. We are promoting the event on Facebook, I am creating flyers for her to hand out to her customers, guests, and friends to invite them to our Holiday Sip, Shop and Sparkle party! We are hoping to have 40-50 people attend. She is going to offer small plates for a nominal fee - we are going to have drink specials and we are going to promote it like crazy on Facebook.
HOLD A "SAMPLE SALE" A WEEK TO TWO WEEKS BEFORE CHRISTMAS!
I am going to hold a "Sample Sale" on December 16th at my Mom's house at Aspen Glen. I am creating a Trunk Show in my system and will have all of my current Stella & Dot Collection available for sale (retail), but we will also be promoting that my samples will be for sale for 50%-70% off - Cash & Carry - gift boxes included! I'm hoping to sell a bunch of my samples to have cash for the Spring Collection.
