Gamma Lambda Spring 2014
Mid Honor Court
March had a lot in stored for our chapter. Gamma Lambda held Mid Honor Court on March 15th, for the eight pledges. Before Mid honor, our chapter had an Alcohol Awareness presentation which required all Brothers in attendance for the event. This presentation covered the risks and consequences of drinking and being under the influence.
With 41 out of 44 Brothers in attendance, this easily made it the most attended Mid Honor Court for our chapter. This Mid Honor Court had some new changes to its procedure due to new regulations established by the Heritage Center. Though we had to make changes to our traditions, the pledges were still given a fair interview and time for reflection.
Alumni Eric Fairless traveled from San Jose and sat on the alumni panel for the entire ritual. We also appreciate the attendance of alumni Jessica Medina and Jessica Sadredin Sanson. After Mid, the Brothers and pledges participated in a mini photo shoot and then had dinner at John's Incredible Pizza.
The Brothers participated in the annual event, Craig Clean Up. Craig School of Business student organizations collaborated in order to clean our business school. The students cleaned the classrooms and the downstairs plaza. During the event, Alumni David Williams grilled hotdogs for everyone who helped in the event. After all the cleaning, the Brothers and other students enjoyed a game of frisbee, provided by Brother Vallone.
Preview Day
Several brothers spoke with prospective students and were able to showcase what Alpha Kappa Psi can offer them.
