Week of May 9th-13th


-A BIG thank you to Robyn Roberson for putting our wonderful and motivational STAAR movie together for us in such a short amount of time! We have publicized it on our Wetmore and NEISD Facebook pages and we are getting a lot of wonderful feedback! Thank you Wetmore family for coming together and making this happen!! :)

-Our choir had an amazing performance this past Saturday! Thank you Mr. Ely for guiding them and assisting with all the "technical difficulties" that day! :)

-PTA performance went really well! Thank you Heather Kelley and Aaron Ely for showcasing all the wonderful talents that our 1st graders have!

-We have added a new baby to our Wetmore family! Congratulations Heather Mayes!

-Congratulations Christine Perez on becoming a grandmother!!

-Ms. Brooks daughter, Willow Brooks, will be representing Wetmore next Wednesday at the VIA Bus luncheon! Congratulations to her and a big thanks to Jean Perez for always submitting Wetmore art in to this contest!

-Congratulations to Lisa Adams and Carol Mayfield for getting a 100% on their audit! All records and transactions were looked at closely and no discrepancies were found! You guys rock!!!!!! Thank YOU!!

-Congratulations to Mrs. Smith's 2nd grade class for winning this year's Battle of the Books! Thank you to Katina for leading this wonderful event!

-We hope you enjoyed all your treats this week! Very well deserved!!

-Last but not least, Happy Mother's Day to all you mommy's! I hope you get a ton of tlc and rest!!!

* Clarity Survey:


All certified staff needs to complete this technology teacher survey by Tuesday, May 24th.

*Teachers~ remember to be adding/updating Compass ISPs. This will be part of the EOY checklist. I encourage you to be working on this now and not waiting until the last week of school. (Repeat)

* During Testing week, you may wear Jeans from the 9th-11th if you pair them with: a motivational STAAR shirts/ or READ shirts(ex. Dr. Seuss), WITH Tennis shoes. (Repeat)

*The EOY assessment window will be April 25th-May 27th. Please take your class in during your regularly scheduled computer time to complete this assessment with them. (Please see 4/18 email from J. Schaefer)
