I seek first to understand, then to be understood.

ACT Aspire Assessments - Almost Complete!!

Thanks for everyone who worked together for our first ever ACT Aspire assessment. We were the only school to test everyone at ONE time. While there were a few minor glitches - overall - it went well. We already have ideas to make this process EVEN BETTER next school year.

Please give a BIG SHOUT OUT to our AWESOME counselors!!!

Their high standard and attention to detail has been outstanding.

We will finish any make-ups and be ready to close out the testing sessions by Friday.

MSAA (Multi-State Alternate Assessment)

Please note that Ann Harwood and Stephanie Courtney

are busy testing ALL of their students

which must also be completed by Friday, May 13th.

They are also completing annual IEP conferences.

We appreciate their hard work as well - focused on supporting our students!

I take care of myself, others, and the environment.

Team Meetings - Focused on "Finishing Strong"

This is our FINAL week of TEAM MEETINGS!

Our focus - FINISHING STRONG - working on:

  • Academic Awards (CLICK HERE for ACADEMIC AWARD Documents - DUE Friday May 13th)

More STEM Learning - Teachers visiting Fayetteville, Monday, May 9th - Project Lead the Way sharing soon.

I seek opportunities to show gratitude and celebrate with colleagues.

Appreciating Teachers - You're THE BEST!!

Highly effective teachers

are part archaeologist, part homebuilder, and

part astronaut.

As archaeologists, teachers unearth the hidden greatness in all their students; as homebuilders, they develop self-confidence and perseverance in their students and create a foundation that encourages students to tackle what previously seemed insurmountable; and as astronauts, they guide journeys to places otherwise thought impossible.

- Jeff Marshall

We appreciate ALL each of you do to support student learning -

every moment of every day!
