New student opportunity to learn Leadership, Engagement, Action and Development!

On December 14th all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are invited to join a new club at Grisham called L.E.A.D. (Leadership, Engagement, Action, and Development). In this club, students will learn how to develop leadership skills by using materials from the organization Leadership Austin. Students will view videos regarding Austin community issues and will then discuss ways we can make an impact in our local community. This meeting’s topic is Can Austin Undo Racism? During 2nd semester, students will develop and lead a service project based on one of the issues. If your student is interested in helping the community, and learning about what our community can improve on, they should come to room 104 (Mrs. Rank’s room) on December 14 at 7:45 am. We will meet the second Thursday morning of each month. For more information contact Mrs. Rank at sheryl_rank@roundrockisd.org.
