School Transformation Day 2017

We will be organizing a BIG prep day on July 28th where we will be:
  • Touching up the gray paint
  • Changing out the teacher hallway classroom markers
  • Moving the Class of banners
  • Hanging the student's name plaques
  • Setting up staff info stations in your alcoves
  • Creating and hanging all the headers for your hallway displays
  • Decorating the new featured areas of the school

Sign up to help here. We need a big 'ol crew that day and would love to have you.

Hey, Hey, Hey! The "Header Team" is ready to get creative!

We'd like to offer a service this summer to create headers for your student work if you don't want to do this yourself. A small team of gifted staff members with a genius for creativity have volunteered to make your header and hang it before Meet the Teacher Night.

Want us to do the dirty work? Click here:

PS: NOT a requirement. You can still do your own. Just a service for those that don't want to.

Opening Day Business

We will try to limit the amount of “business” time we spend this year so we can focus on the training you need before school starts.

See our site and then click the Opening Day 2017 link at the top of the page for your to-do’s. This is all due on August 16th.

Bloodborne Pathogens Training

Step-by-step instructions are listed below for all new hire employees, employees who have never used the SafeSchool online training program or those who simply need a guideline.

1. Get your Employee ID number (will be in the upper left hand corner of your munis advice or go to IC, Census, My Data).

2. For New Hires and those who have never used the online training program only. Email or call Christen Morgan to get set up in the SafeSchool training system. (phone number 334-4466 or 334-4455)

3. Go to the SafeSchool Website at (this can be accessed through Boone County Schools website under “FOR STAFF tab, click on “SAFESCHOOLS”)

4. Using your specified username sign onto the system. (Examples listed below)

a. Certified and Classified Staff enter the username using “capital” BC and your 6 digit employee number. (Employee number can be found on your pay stub. i.e.: BC123456)

b. Substitute Staff enter the username using “capital” BC “lower-case” xx and the 4 digit SUB number. (Example: BCxx1234)

5. Once you have logged into the system you will see a list of courses that can be taken, under the “HEALTH” menu. Choose the selection marked “Bloodborne Pathogens Eosure Prevention” that is mid-way through the page and begin the 6. Employees do not need to print out and submit the certificate. Safeschools tracks this for us.
