School Calendar
Please remember to update the school calendar when things change or you are adding activities. Also be sure to keep specialty in the loop when you will not be in that class for the day.
Parent Conferences
As we approach conference season I wanted to share an idea I heard the other day that made a lot of sense. As we are looking at priority metrics across the district this can and should drive our conversations. Consider conducting conferences with the A, B, C's.
A--Attendance--share this with parents. It is important!
B--Behavior--this is a good time to discuss learner profile strengths and areas for growth
C--Coursework--in addition to discussing student academic progress in class coursework be sure to share i-ready test information.
Parkview Cares
There will be about 12 Parkview kids joining us for the morning of Oct. 3rd. I will assign 1 kiddo to each classroom. If your class attends specials while they are here they can go with your class. Students can be assigned to clean, organize, make copies, cut out things, whatever you choose.
