Report Cards
The reason Ixonia prints report cards is becuase they are an important summary of your child's progress so far this year. Celebrate with your child the skills they have gained or positive notes from his/her teacher. You can also ask them something they might be working toward improvement on. These types of conversations are so powerful and emphasize the importance of hard work at school.
Please sign and return the report card envelope to your child's teacher as an acknowledgement that you received the report card.

Gingerbread Shop is This Tuesday, December 8th!
The Gingerbread Shop is a long-standing Ixonia Elementary tradition that our kids LOVE!! The PTO purchases, wraps and sells presents that the students can buy for family and friends at Christmas. Coordinators shop all year to get the best deals so that many items are worth quite a bit, yet we are able to charge only $2 per gift! There is a huge variety of gifts the kids can choose from, so there is something for everyone.
The Gingerbread Shop will be ONE DAY ONLY, with a LIMIT OF 5 GIFTS. The gift categories are as follows: Adult Male, Adult Female, Teen Boy, Teen Girl, Child Boy, Child Girl, Infant, Dog or Cat. Your child can shop for up to 5 gifts. *No exceptions will be made, so please choose carefully with your child before our shopping day on Tuesday, December 8th.
Please send in your child(s) list and money by Monday, December 7th!
Please Check Your Student Fees!

Illness Guidelines
In late August, OASD district nurse, Christy Deal, put together this informational video. At the time, everyone was on information overload and we were just anxious to get children back to school. Now that we have been fully-operating and facing these illness symptoms, it is worthwhile to revisit this video. It is 13 minutes, but provides the clarification and explanation needed.
Take a look and feel free to contact Brooke Sambolin (sambolinb@oasd.org), Ixonia's isolation room staff, for more clarification or information.
