Changes to 6th Grade Enrichment Class

During enrichment this year your student will be experiencing new challenges! Ms. Borden-Thomas and Mr. Simon are leading students through Google CS (Computer Science). Students will be able to choose different themed activities to introduce them to computer science education. Themes students can choose from are Storytelling, Friends, Fashion & Design, Art, Social Media, Sports, Music & Sound, and Game Design. Our teachers have then created extension activities to teach students the design process. In the end, students will produce items from the 3D printer, sewing machine, button maker, and more! In the end students will sharpen their presentation skills with their newly designed products.
