There are many colleges to go to become a Computer Hardware Engineer, I broke them down to Texas Tech, Washington State, and Texas Christian University. All of those colleges/universities specialize in engineering. Texas Tech is a large college along with the others (WSU and TCU.) The students faculty ratio, Tech = 20:1 TCU= 13:1 WSU= 15:1.
