Message from Principal Honohan

Dear Audubon Park School Families.

It was wonderful to see so many of you at our Gator Shower 2.0 last Thursday night. The event was filled with educational activities, games and fun, all designed to engage our students. All proceeds went to the support of our Animal Education here at APSK8. Mrs. Roberts and her team did a remarkable job planning and implementing this event along with our Community vendors and partners.

We look forward to another event in the Spring.

I also want to give a Shout-Out to The APSK8 Student Government members who led a ceremony and installation at Advent Health Winter Park on Friday. 5th-grade students wanted to thank Healthcare workers, so after a school-wide call for cards, the 5th graders led by Tiffany Beaulieu, Ava Marlowe and Kaylee Jones organized students videotaping their messages. With funding provided by Winter Park Health Foundation, these messages of gratitude were made into scannable yard signs. For the next 2 weeks, you can drive by the Advent Health Main Entrance, scan the yard sign display and hear our students' appreciative messages.

Progress Reports were released last week. I hope all families are taking advantage of checking in through Skyward to keep track of progress.

Thank you for your support of our school and for partnering with us for your child's education.

Trevor Honohan,

Uniting tradition and innovation
