Learning Targets
Language Arts- This week in language arts we will be starting our PBL. We will be looking at an event that happened in the 20th century and researching it. We are also doing book clubs with a historical fiction books that are set in that time period. I am excited about all the new information we will be learning and sharing with each other.
Math- Your child is continuing on their math journey as they dive into interpreting and creating charts (bar graphs, dot charts, etc.)
Science- Science Boot Camp is off to a great start. Our platoon (class) vulnerability is identifying and comparing the physical characteristics of the Earth, Sun, and Moon! Individually, your child has their own goal. They are working to strengthen a concept of their choosing. They also have homework associated with their personal vulnerability standard. It is DUE FRIDAY! Please check in with them. They are all responsible for keeping track of their Science Folder! They are required to have it daily and due to the important contents, should NOT be lost! Also, stop to take a look at the moon in the month of April! We are keeping track of the moon phases. Your child has a place to document what they see in their folder.
