TICKETS (wristbands) - If you have paid for your tickets via the parent payment portal, please collect your ticket (wristband) at the entrance gate, where we will have 6 ticket stations to hand over tickets. The payment portal closes at 5pm tonight, Friday evening, so further tickets (wristbands) may be bought by cash on the entrance gate (Adult £8, Child £5). Wristbands are exchanged for the BBQ food. If we sell out 1200 tickets, then entry is still available, but there will not necessarily be food available, except after all with wristbands have exchanged.
FROM THE HEAD'S DESK
Congratulations to the Rowing Club for a successful Sponsored Row and Boat Naming Ceremony, I hope to see the 'Felipe Foy' leading the field at Regattas and Heads next season. The Year 8 parents Evening proved to be a very useful event and my thanks to Mr Miller for his presentation, the feedback I had from parents was very positive.
David Hyner talking to the Year 11 boys again proved to be a very motivating influence on the year, please talk to your son about his message. The weather for Saturday evening promises to be dry and mild perfect for a Firework display, I hope to see a good turnout.
Finally I look forward to seeing the Year 10 parents on Thursday to talk through their son's progress. With Halloween on us and the fact that clowns have such bad press I have passed on links from Thames Police on safety.
