ACAP ONLINE TOOLS
Thank you to everyone who has been utilizing the online tools training for ACAP Summative with your students! This is SUCH a valuable resource! This training site allows students to practice and become fluent with the embedded ACAP tools and learn how to answer questions in the assessment platform. Some questions require the completion of a clock face or a chart or table. Students should have had plenty of practice on how to do this prior to taking the ACAP Summative. The ACAP Summative begins on Monday for schools who have chosen to take the assessment at the beginning of the testing window. The testing window closes April 30th.
Thank you to Mrs. Sara McClendon, Assessment Specialist, for sharing this information!

(G) Math Add-On
(G)math gives you the ability to create:
- Math Expressions
- Graphs
- Statistical Charts
Additionally, you can even hand write formulas and (G)math reads your handwriting and converts it to a new chart or formula. Awesome!
If you want help with this handy tool, the Gmath help forum rocks! You can add the extension from the Chrome Webstore.
Kaizena Add-On
Kaizena is a Google Docs add-on that lets you add voice comments to your students’ documents. With the Kaizena add-on installed simply highlight a word or a sentence in a document and then record a voice comment about that highlighted word or sentence. Voice comments can be used in conjunction with text comments. Students need to have the add-on installed in order to listen to the audio comments.
