News & Information for Tiger Families

Letter from the Principal

Tiger Families,

Hopefully, everyone enjoyed their snow day this week. There may or may not have been some staff and students doing snow dances in the hallway Tuesday afternoon.

The School Finance Council has been hard at work creating a budget for the 2023-2024 school year. With that being said, the tuition increase for next year has been kept at a minimal. On behalf of the school, we thank everyone who is on the Finance Council and School Board for doing what is best for the students and staff of St. Teresa!

This week we saw the completion of the Safe and Sacred Children's Learning Program in the classrooms. Hopefully, the packets sent home with students and email to parents, sparked meaningful conversations at home. Sometimes the most difficult topic to discuss is the most important!

Our teachers have been hard at work putting together a WONDERFUL Catholic Schools Week for our students! This year the school wide Catholic Schools Week Service Project, will be collecting for “Got Your Six Support Dogs”. This extraordinary organization provides specialized service dogs to veterans and first responders who suffer from post traumatic stress disorder. Please visit their website for more information on this very worthy cause. https://gotyoursixsupportdogs.org/ If you would prefer to do an Amazon donation from their wish list rather than cash, please have it sent to the school. On February 24th, as a school, we will be presenting "Got Your Six Support Dogs" the donations.

The school auction is right around the corner. Your support is crucial to the success of St. Teresa School. We are great because of people like you! Tiger Spirit Raffle Tickets sales start on January 29th! GOOD LUCK!!

As always, we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership.

Sincerely,

Nicole Green

Principal

Inclement Weather Plan

IS SCHOOL CLOSED?

Closure of St. Teresa School will be shared FIRST on the St. Teresa School website and on official St. Teresa social media within minutes of the decision.

For the 2022-2023 school year St. Teresa School will be following District 118 closure policy.

If District 118 is closed due to inclement weather, St. Teresa's will also be closed.

For the 2022-2023 school year there will be no "remote learning" days.

As children we all looked forward to the fun of a "snow day."

All "snow days" will be made up at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.
