Dear Hawley Parents/Guardians, Teachers, and Staff,
Welcome to Spring and to April. We are entering the final leg of our journey. Lots going on and more to come after a much needed break.
Buckle up, stay seated, and keep your hands and feet in the car at all times, as you read on to find out What's Happening at Hawley .....
Our students in Grades K-1 recently participated in Jump Rope for Heart. It is a wonderful activity to raise money for the Heart Foundation.
Our students raised $1,031. Congratulations to them and Thank You for your generosity.

Important Reminders / General Info
- Make sure that your 3rd & 4th grader has a pair of working Headphones for State Testing (starting after Vacation).
- Registration is open for Kindergarten next year.
- If your family will not be returning to Hawley next year, due to a move or relocation, not a 4th grader going to 5th, please reach out to our office. This helps us prepare for next year (and The Move Back to Hawley)
- Since we are in 2 buildings that students are unfamiliar, and with the end of the day being very busy, we ask that no students be picked up between 3:00-3:25 PM.
- If you are wondering..... ASK!
Dates to Remember
- Fri, 4/7: No School- Good Friday
- Mon-Fri, 4/10-4/14: No School- Spring Vacation
- Tues-Thurs, 4/18-4/20: Kindergarten Registration (Reed)
- 4/19-5/5: SBAC State Testing Grades 3 & 4 (more information to be sent separately after vacation)
- Thurs, 4/20: Hawley Art Show- Central Office, 4:30-6:00.
- Thurs, 4/27: Kindergarten Orientation Night, 5:30-6:15 (Sandy Hook)
