A part of our Self Determination goal for this year is including the student in their IEP meeting. It is very important that our students have a say in their goals, future plans, transition, etc.. Below is a link to a few useful tips to include our students in their meeting.

Our district has been working hard to consistently implement our MTSS process. Below is a link to Intervention Hero. It provides tabs across the page that lead to not only academic interventions but also behavior accommodations, and mentorship. Intervention specialists, administrators, and gen. ed. teachers will all find this to be a useful resource.

The FANS Network Book Club!! Information below!

We have made some updates to the sensory room at the Intermediate. We would like to continue to update our sensory areas throughout the district, as needed. We are focusing first on the areas with the highest need and the fewest supplies. As students move through the district, the building's needs change.

Ms. Martha, Ms. Mary Kay, and Ms. Kristen have done a great job this year with their preschool class. I am so excited to see where these kiddos are in a couple of years -the growth will be amazing and a lot of that is due to these wonderful, caring staff members.

A HUGE thank you goes out to the Uhrichsville Eagles for their grant to furnish our cafe at Claymont High School. They also were kind enough to set up the furniture for us. With the grant, we were able to purchase: a cooler, high top tables, rug, coffee table, four cushioned chairs, and several more items. Mustang Mugs continues to grow and improve!
