It's Go Time: Whittier History Day
Whittier History Day is Wednesday, February 15. All the time, research, and effort comes together in an exhibition of learning.
Open House is 8:15am-9:15am. During this time, students will be with their projects for a half hour and will interview students for the other half hour. At 9:15, students will return to their class schedule and await their interview with their judges. If at all possible, please do not dismiss students early. We need them to be available for their interviews later in the day.
If you join us for Open House, we ask you to sign in when you arrive. You will enter through the middle school doors rather than the main entrance. Our welcoming team will help you get where you would like to go. It would be helpful if you do not arrive prior to 8:15 as we try to organize the chaos of the morning.
Students have been asked to dress up a bit for History Day. While ties are certainly not expected, I know where students can get one if they want one. We just ask students to turn it up a notch from the average day.
Whittier History Day is a great day to see students shine. We are looking forward to a great day!
