Gringotts
Fortius Quo Fidelious
Protecting your money at the safest place on Earth
History
Gringotts was created in 1474 by a goblin named Gringott. The bank was put in the hands of the Ministry of Magic at an unspecified time, although by the 1500s it already had some degree of wizarding management. In 1865, the ministry decided to put full management back into the goblins hands. During Lord Voldemort's control of the Ministry (1997-1998), the back was yet again put yet again under the Ministry. There have only been two known break-ins at Gringotts, the one in 1991 and the one in 1998.

Phoenix
Phoenix's scarlet feathers glow faintly in the darkness, and their golden tail feathers are hot to the touch. As phoenix's approach Burning Day, they resemble and half-plucked turkey. Their eyes become dull, their feathers start to fall out, and they begin to make gagging noises. Then they suddenly burst into flames only to rise from the ashes a few moments later. In a number of days they grow back to full size. Thanks to this ability, phoenix's live to an immense age. They can also disappear and reappear at will in bursts of flames and take anyone holding on along. Their tears also have healing capabilities. They go for a starting price of 20 galleons.
