Introducing the Southern Region Interim Deputy VP Sharon Williams
Interview
What’s the #1 most played song on your iPod? Well, I am not sure that I play any one song particularly more than another HOWEVER, I did check out my Ipod “Stats” (As accurate as they could be???) I seem to play Ed Sheeran’s, “Thinking Out Loud” A LOT, along with “Let it Go (Zac Brown Band) and I know that I play that one in multiple replays on some occasions! J I listen to music more than I watch TV so #1 is a tough one. I don’t like to exclude! There’s a lot of Bruce Springsteen, Megan Trainor, Taylor Swift (YES, I have teenage girls), Patti Griffin, OAR, Foy Vance, and Lindsay Stirling (Awesome Violinist) and whole lot more. Let’s just say I am SUPER eclectic listener.
What’s your least favorite mode of transportation? Why? TRAIN….for some reason it makes me nauseous to work on one. I prefer to drive or fly. NOW if I don’t have to work, the train is fine. I am not a huge fan of busses either…too slow! J
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet? Why? Gosh these are hard….I would like to meet Mother Teresa and perhaps Jesus together. It would be fun to meet Oprah, Marianne Williamson, and Jon Gordon. (You will notice I can’t just pick ONE of anything!)
When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time? I am outside and probably walking, hiking….OR I am nose down in a book.
What would you name the autobiography of your life? Shine your Light. (Relating to a special relationship that I had with my Grandmother and what she taught me at an early age)
What do you miss most about being a kid? Street Hockey! I have 5 brothers and we played all the time. It is an awesome memory.
Which celebrity do you get mistaken for? NONE!
What do you like most about the Southern Region so far? EVERYONE, and I mean everyone has been so welcoming, and willing to share so much about their schools. I look forward to getting together with all in July.
