PRINCIPAL NEWS
Greetings EES Families,
I want to wish you all a wonderful break with your family and friends. We have had some exciting weeks here at EES. Students have been showing extraordinary growth across all content areas (academic and SEL), especially when we look back to our starting point in September. Our whole school community is working hard to meet the needs of each student and this work is paying off. I thought that it might be a good time to remind families of the RTI Parent Letter that was sent at the start of the school year. This continues to be our system of support for all students and teachers. Please let me know if you have any questions.
This could be the last time you hear from me until later this spring depending on the arrival date of our new baby. I want to wish you all a fabulous spring at EES full of fun and learning. As a reminder, Rob Reardon will be the principal substitute while I am out.
My Best,
Ashley Gray
EES Principal
PICKUP PATROL IS UP AND RUNNING AT EES!
Thank you to all the families who are already using Pickup Patrol! Our new Pickup Patrol app has truly streamlined the process of tracking your student's dismissal changes. It provides the classroom teacher and the front office with accurate daily dismissal plans. It has been especially helpful in managing changes that are made due to the rotating bus cancellations. Did you know that you can also use Pick Up Patrol to report a late arrival or a student absence? Be sure to provide a reason for any absence.
If you haven't signed up for Pickup Patrol yet and would like us to resend the welcome email, please contact the front office staff:
nbergeron@ewsd.org, dsturgess@ewsd.org, and lwignall@ewsd.org.
*Note
If your child has an appointment during the school day and you will be picking them up and returning them to school afterwards, please continue to notify the teacher and front office via email or phone call. The Pickup Patrol app does not offer the functionality to report that information.
If you are having trouble logging into Pick Up Patrol, please reach out to support@pickuppatrol.net
Thank you!
