Tualatin Library Teen Room
Tualatin Public Library welcomes YOU to the Teen Room! Located in the back of the library, the Teen Room is a space reserved for students in grades 6-12. (The only adults allowed to stay in the room are library staff.) Why hang out in the Teen Room? Because it has a lot of stuff for you! Art supplies. Board games. Maker stuff. Computers. Space. And on weekends and school’s out days—video gaming! The Teen Room has an Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Wii U for your use. Lots of games are available for you to play. In addition to all of this awesomeness, every Friday night is Teen Movie Night. After the library closes on Fridays, the Teen Room stays open for you to hang out and watch a movie (6-8:30pm). Questions? Email Aimee at ameuchel@tualatin.gov.
Outdoor School Information
Sixth grade families,
Outdoor School is coming on March 14-17, and we now have more information to share with you about this fun event for our 6th graders. Teachers are working on cabin assignments and organizing camp materials to send home. As you receive materials, please complete forms and return them to your student's science teacher as soon as possible. Science teachers will send each class a message about the forms and what needs to be returned. We need these documents completed and returned so every student can be a part of this experience.
There will also be an Outdoor School Information Night on Monday, February 27th from 5-7 PM. At this evening event, there will be a presentation from an Outdoor School Representative. They will explain the experience and the process, and will be able to answer any questions you may have about what to expect. Come join us in the Commons at Hazelbrook on the 27th to hear more about Outdoor School and get answers to any questions you may have.
