A summary of recent School Board action
Carole Nielsen, executive director of administrative services, spoke about 2019-2020 fiscal year budget assumptions which are developed with input from the School Board through work sessions. Budget assumptions will be used in financial projections and in determining the final budget. The final 2019-2020 budget will be adopted in June 2019.
Certify final property tax levy
The Board approved a resolution to certify the 2019 property tax levy. The final certification will be forwarded to Ramsey County for processing of the final property tax statement. The tax statements will be sent out in March 2019. The property tax revenue will be available to the District for the 2019-2020 school year. The total levy amount is $50,387,865 which is 1.16 percent greater than the 2018 tax levy. For more information, please visit the Budgets & Finance page at www.moundsviewschools.org
