News from CPE
Hello CPE Parents,
I hope you all had a relaxing long weekend. We are back in the full swing of learning, and have a few reminders and tips to help your student get the most out of their learning experience.
Create a designated space for learning if possible. If you can find a place where they have supplies and there are minimal background conversations, that would be helpful.
Have students sit at a table if possible. When students are sitting up at a table (compared to lying on a bed or couch) they participate more.
Try to eliminate distractions. We have noticed many students have TV on, or a game on a phone or laptop. Please try to take away all devices except their computer during school hours.
If your child is having trouble with sound levels on their Chromebook, please call the tech line.
Your partnership is invaluable during this time. I know that getting students up, participating, and engaged is no small task. We GREATLY appreciate your help.
Coming Back To School Update:
The district is working hard to get students back into the classroom. This district is actively negotiating the details of what this will look like to keep everyone safe. Here at CPE, we are setting up classrooms with desks 6 ft apart and have a detailed plan for buses, lunch, recess, etc.. Parents will have a choice to have the students stay remote or return to school part time. All students and students will wear masks and follow safety guidelines.
Sincerely,
Ms. Crum
