Give and Teach is an evangelical mission that seeks to have a holistic ministry to the poor and indigenous Guatemalans in the remote mountain villages near Guatemala City. This Christian mission, led by Mike and Carol Claypool, seeks to reach these people with the love of Christ.

The video shown below helps to summarize and give a glimpse of what Give and Teach does throughout the year. With their education background, Mike and Carol are highly invested in training teachers in the public schools to help the kids receive a quality education - breaking the cycle of poverty, sex trafficking, and drugs that plague their environment.

Their God-ordained relationship with government schools permits them to also have Bible clubs in school. They are also able to hold community and school VBS programs, sport camps, and movie nights showing Christian films - all filled with testimonies to impact the local school community for Christ.

Another part of the Claypool's ministry is working with local churches to help bring God's love to the Guatemalan families. They do this through building chicken coops for micro-enterprise incomes, vented brick ovens in homes for better air quality and long term health, and constructing homes (75 since 2011).

Many of these compassion projects are accomplished through short term missions trips facilitated by Mike and Carol. By being the hands and feet of Jesus in the areas of teacher training, child evangelism and discipleship, and family compassion ministries, Give and Teach has been able to reach many for Christ and His Kingdom.
