Rules and Regulations

  • The FDA has rules regarding how and what drugs can be marketed.
  • If they are FDA approved, they are allowed to.
  • FDA approved drugs are safe because they are judged on their efficiency and safety to protect consumers.
  • Not FDA approved drugs are unsafe, and have some symptoms that could be life threatening.
  • Consumers need to just use prescriptions that are FDA approved, and the FDA does a good job of making sure illegal drugs aren't marketing to consumers.
  • The FDA also sends out warnings to pharmaceutical companies that may be doing illegal stuff.

  • The warnings are usually sent out every 30 days.
  • The tell the companies on whether they are doing illegal activities and how they are doing the wrong thing.
  • They are used to inform, and to let the companies know of their rules and how they can follow them.
