Join the Fun! Our SILENT AUCTION is live online.
Penny Road's biggest silent auction ever is online through Thursday evening at 8:00 pm. All items not purchased online before that time will then move to the live event in the gym during Friday's Spring Carnival. Our feature items, teacher experiences and classroom art pieces, will be the showcase of Friday's live event. Don't miss it!
We encourage all of our families to share the auction link with friends, neighbors, and family. You don't have to be a PRE family to participate. There is something for everyone in all price ranges. With nearly 200 items to bid on, we need your help getting the word out.
Check out the auction here: https://www.32auctions.com/pennyroad2019
New this year: We have a BUY NOW BONUS!! Buy Now items allow you to bypass the bidding process and help us move items prior to the live event on Friday, May 17th. (Our gym is only so big, folks!) For every item you purchase using the BUY NOW option, your name will be entered into a drawing to win $100 in CASH! See the PDF below for all the details.
Spring Carnival Volunteers Needed!
We are one week away from Penny Road’s biggest event of the year and we are in desperate need of more adult volunteers. We need help before, during, and after the event! We are especially in need of a few volunteers to work the grill and cook hot dogs. Many hands make light work. Please consider helping out if you are able to! Log in to Konstella to access the sign up or click HERE.
We could also use a few more donations for our Cake Walk. The sign up may be found here on Konstella. Donations may be brought to the office on Friday, May 17th between 8:45 am and 4:15 pm.

We are so excited for what is to come and look forward to another awesome year making a difference at Penny Road.

Please join us on Tuesday, May 21st for our final General PTA meeting of the year. The meeting will begin at 9:15 am in the gym. If you have never been to a PTA meeting before this is a great one to attend, as it is also our parent volunteer appreciation coffee! Whether you have helped in your child’s classroom, helped our Hospitality Committee with teacher luncheons, attended one of our Campus Clean-ups or volunteered in any other way here at Penny Road, we would like to say thank you! More information will follow but please mark your calendars! We need a quorum of twenty PTA members to attend, so your attendance would be much appreciated!
Attention Rising Kindergarten Families:
Reminder about Class Celebrations
As we near the end of the school year, there will be many things to celebrate in our classrooms! As a reminder, all food items brought in for celebrations must be store bought. This is a Wake County Public Schools policy and our teachers would greatly appreciate your cooperation with this.

Penny Road’s Field Day is just five weeks away! We have three different sessions and we need a minimum of 25 volunteers to make each session a success.
