amendment VI: the right to a fair trial
"In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed; which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense."-the bill of rights. the most important amendment in the bill of rights is the right to a fair trial because it gives people a chance to justify their side of the case and have a chance to be heard and possibly not guilty if they really didn't do it.
amendment II: the right to bare arms.
the second most important amendment is the second amendment because it helps us hunt for food too feed our families and it also makes us safer because it allows us to keep weapons to defend ourselves from others who wish to harm us and take our belongings. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"-the bill of rights.
amendment III: Quartering of soldiers
"No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law." this amendment seems the least important to me and could be removed because it seems kinda of obvious that you don't need to house solders especially after what happened with the king it would be obvious to the solders their not able to be house by the citizens and they would know what would happen if they did that.
i did not select the other seven amendments because they are all more important then the third but less important than the sixth and the second but some of them do need a little adjustments because after all nothing is perfect for a long term at least
amendment VIII
"Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."-Bill of Rights. i feel like it needs to be changed to have a little extra part in it for certain situations or crimes. i would change it to say "no excessive bail or fines for what is considered for small crimes and the cruel or unusual punishment punishments rule will stay the same."
