What is Cystic Fibrosis

CYSTIC FIBROSIS is a disease that makes mucus build up in the lungs, blocking airways. If the the mucus builds up this makes it easier for bacteria to grow and this can cause serious disease to the lungs. The mucus can block tubes and these tubes could be a part of your swallowing and you may not to swallow food. When your glands get sweaty you can start to lose a lot of salt in your body and this can really hurt you and have a lot of heart problems. If your child ever gets Cystic Fibrosis you could get diabetes, with cystic fibrosis can cause breathing problems.
