TECH TIP OF THE WEEK
Words of Wisdom
Comparison is the thief of joy.
~ Theodore Roosevelt
Thieves can wreak havoc on our lives. They invade our spaces. They take what isn't theirs to take. There are all kinds of thieves. Some steal brazenly, right in our faces. Some steal quietly when we are completely unaware. Then we wake up one day and realize that something important is missing. Comparison can be that kind of thief, stealing our joy and contentment while we aren't paying attention. So, here's the deal: There will always, always be someone or something capable of making us feel inadequate, unsuccessful, or unattractive, if we allow it. Stop comparing! It steals your sense of perfect uniqueness, your own incomparable, unrepeatable identity which belongs solely to you and you alone.
With something to think about . . .
Remember to take care of yourself.
Someone, somewhere will always have more, be more successful, and look better. Find peace in who you are as a unique, one-of-a-kind individual.
Happy Birthday!
