Congratulations to all of the Citizenship Award Winners!
Each semester, we celebrate students at TRMS who exemplify excellence in character, effort, leadership, dedication, and most of all citizenship. We see them trying their best while maintaining a positive attitude. We see others giving a helping hand to a fellow student. The Citizenship Award was presented in recognition of outstanding character and good citizenship to the following students on November 29th.

TRMS 8th GRADE DANCE - 2016
The 8th grade dance is on Friday December 16th from 6:30pm-8:30pm. There will be a DJ, DANCING, CONTESTS, PHOTOS & DESSERT BAR. Students are asked to wear dressy attire (No Jeans).
The theme this year is "Under the Sea." We need A LOT of parent volunteers to help decorate to make it look fantastic for our 8th graders. PLEASE SIGN UP TODAY TO VOLUNTEER! If you can't volunteer your time, we also need food donations. Donations should be sent in the day before on 12/15. We appreciate all the help we can get!

Achieve more with Windows 10 by joining our 90-minute workshop exclusive for Fulton County Schools.
Students and Parents will learn how to get the most out of their new device. Aspects of Windows 10 covered in the workshop include: Navigation, Start, Windows Explorer, Menus, Accessing Applications, Security Features and Synchronization across Devices, Understanding Your Browsers (Edge and IE), linking using the Surface Pen and best practices to save battery, updating your device, and setting up reminders to charge your device to keep students productive during class.

Students and Parents will learn how to navigate Office 365. Aspects sof Office 365 covered in the workshop include: What is the difference between a Microsoft Account and a School Office 365 Account?, What is the difference between Outlook web app, Outlook Desktop and Mail App, OneDrive for School/Business vs. OneDrive Personal, One-Note Intro, Skype Intro, and How to Download Your Free Office 2016 from Office 365 Fulton Student Account.

campMODA Winter Break Sessions
Museum of Design Atlanta’s campMODA Winter Break sessions teach kids to use design thinking in combination with STEAM skills to solve problems and address challenges while having plenty of fun. This December, younger campers can enjoy themes like Making with littleBits, LEGOs and Hexbugs or Designing with Minecraft. Older campers, ages 8-12, will find offerings in Arduino electronics platform, Minecraft, design hacking and Cloudbits + Bitcraft. No experience is necessary, but campMODA can also challenge campers with a background in these skills.
Winter Break campMODA sessions are available Dec. 19-22 and 27-29. Museum of Design Atlanta is located at 1315 Peachtree Street in Atlanta. More information is available at http://www.museumofdesign.org/.

Lost and Found
Parents, please remind your students to check the lost and found table outside of the cafeteria doors for lunch boxes, coats, agendas, books etc. We already have a large collection of items that need to be picked up. Items left over two weeks are donated to charity.
