Rocket Report

August 17, 2020

It has been inspiring to see your Teams classes in action! It was wonderful to see the Boys Town lessons, Fundations, Math and other content area delivered using the UESD Strategic Instructional Design method and the use of learning checks and positive praise.

Monday we will begin the On-Site-Support Services for designated students. This program will run from 7:30-2:30 Monday-Friday. The students and staff working with them will be trained to use the safety measures indicated in our staff and student handbooks.

Thank you for all you do to make Dos Rios a place where ALL children are capable of success, No Exceptions!

Inspiring hope and empowering all students to courageously pursue their goals and dreams!

Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible

**PLC grade level teams: On Week 1 of each Unit, grade level teams will develop short CFAs (Common Formative Assessments) for the week or topic (based on team decision) for each section of the Unit (this is not the larger CFA for the entire Unit. That is already developed by Curriculum Mapping Team this summer).

In the remaining PLC meetings for that Unit, teams meet to discuss outcomes of most recent CFA and consider remediation/enrichments for students based on results.

-Student Services teachers can join an appropriate grade level PLC. On alternate day (Tuesday or Thursday) you can engage in PLC with other Student Services teachers. Please develop a plan and let me know.
