🚨 Nov. 8 Bond Issue🚨

Pickerington Schools’ Nov. 8 bond issue will be used to address this rapid growth in the student population by constructing a new junior high and renovating and expanding existing facilities. Community approval of the bond issue will help our students for years to come, and will help keep our schools and property values strong. Learn more about the bond issue on our website. Don’t forget that early in-person and absentee voting by mail is open now and election day is Nov. 8. More information about voting is available on the Vote Ohio website.

Book Fair

The book fair will run October 26th thru November 4th. Flyers will come home next week with more information!

Parent Drop Off / Pick Up

Please remember students should not be dropped off in front of the building before 9:15am. If you are dropping off, please use the line. Thank you for your cooperation.

As a public charity, all contributions to the Foundation will receive the maximum tax deduction allowed by law.

We hope to see you at the PEF Charity Auction!

Local community members are interested in donating Thanksgiving meals to other Pickerington families. This is a confidential donation, neither the names of donors or recipients will be shared. Due to the amount of food in the box, an adult will need to be available to come and pick it up from Pickerington Elementary. The pick up time is to be determined and will be communicated closer to that date.

If you are interested in receiving a Turkey dinner, please contact me at Phone:(614)548-1431 or email kendra_stewart@plsd.us by November 11th.

Please let me know how many family members live in your house so we can make sure the appropriate amount of food is boxed.

Each student in the house is eligible. Please reach out to Kendra Stewart, School Counselor by phone at 614-548-1431 or email at kendra_stewart@plsd.us in order to sign up.

Ohio Adoption & Kinship Network

OhioKAN is a new statewide program designed to help kinship and adoptive families navigate and connect with all available resources. We work to help families build connections and find resources in their area by providing personalized and customized referral information. We are also able, in Region 7 (Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Pickaway Counties), to assist with flexible funds and hard goods. The feedback from families served has been incredibly positive! There are no income eligibility requirements and we serve formal and informal kinship placements, as well as adoptive families. We are here to listen, link and empower families. https://ohiokan.jfs.ohio.gov.
