Distance Learning Support for Students and Parents - Learning Never Closes!

As we continue to move towards distance learning in these unprecedented times, we want to share some resources on how to:

1) Access the Clever Launch Pad (source of many resources)
2) Access Canvas (the primary instructional platform for student learning)
3) Plan for the weeks ahead (starting what to do right away)
4) Contact Teachers and When (office hours and availability by grade level detailed below)

The first day of distance online learning is Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Broward County Public Schools will be using the Canvas online learning management system to ensure that the learning never stops! Scholars will have access to:

  • live instructions from their teachers
  • access to adopted textbooks
  • weekly lessons and assignments
  • and several other online resources

Scholars can only access the resources to ensure that learning never stops through the Single Sign-On Clever Launchpad. Please see below on parent directions on helping your child access Canvas.
