Growing Minds with a Growing Garden

The students in Mrs. Rowell’s 1st-grade class at Wildlight Elementary learn how to use science skills in their great outdoor learning center! They dug up vegetables they had planted in the fall! The kids used science tools & observations to investigate the differences & similarities between the carrots they had a hand in growing! They sorted them by size and color. It’s so much fun to watch learning GROW!

Mrs. Kravet's fifth grade class at Yulee Elementary was asked to illustrate balanced and unbalanced forces. Then, students were able to explain how their illustrations show the difference between the two to the class. Students were excited to show what they had learned.
