All students in grades 2, 4, 6, and 8 will be participating in the CogAT (Cognitive Abilities Test) between November 4th and Nov. 20th. This is part of Trivium's Standardized Testing program that occurs each year and each grade level will be scheduling their exact dates.

Race on Nov 21st! Fun Run Activities at Trivium Nov 11th-22nd

Dear Families,

The Box Tops for Education program is changing the way we can earn cash for our school!

Over the summer, participating brands have begun to change their packaging from the traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Tops label.

Here are the quick things to know -
- Box Tops will be earned digitally by scanning your receipt for the store.
- There will be a mobile app to use for scanning - EASY!!
- Traditional Box Tops at home are still great!! Be sure to send them to school.
- Double Dip!! As the transition is made from clips to digital completely, you can turn the clips in, AND scan the receipt!

Thanks for helping our school get what it needs! The parents in the community make it super easy to put our Thinkers first!!

LASTLY...I will be sending home information regarding contests and challenges related to Box Tops! We have some new ideas this year to make it fun for the kids!

Our first turn in date to the company will be Nov 1, so we have a quick push to get there - but I know our Trivium Families have been saving them!

Students who made AB Honor Roll and A Honor roll were also recognized in secondary. The 7th grade A Honor Roll is pictured below with Principal Cawthon. Keep up the great work!

Strawberry DNA

9th grade biology students in Mrs. Frank's class performed a lab extracting DNA from a strawberry! After extracting the DNA, they looked at it under a microscope and were able to see for themselves how DNA and cells differ in structure when viewed up close.
