Hallelujah He is Risen!

Welcome Back!

One practice of commemorating Easter is the joyous greeting of “Christ is risen” with the response of “He is risen indeed!” It reminds us that Jesus is alive and in our midst and he welcomes us in a new life with him. The season of Easter begins after Easter Sunday and lasts for seven weeks, ending with Pentecost, May 23, 2021.

Staffing Update!

We are thrilled to welcome Mrs Krista Connelly back to SGTG. She is returning from maternity leave to teach grade 3. We would like to thank Miss Melissa Palsitt for the wonderful job she has done teaching this grade 3 class. We have been truly blessed to have her as a staff member and wish her all the best as she continues in her teaching career.

Red Deer Catholic Edwin Parr Division Finalist

Our very own Meghan Huising is the Red Deer Catholic's Edwin Parr division finalist. This is a prestigious award given to first-year teachers who deserve to be recognized for their outstanding efforts. Meghan has done an amazing job in our middle school teaching Language Arts and Social studies. She embodies catholic education by authentically living her faith and sharing it with our students. Congratulations Meghan!

Earth Day 2021 - April 20-22

We are called as Christians to be good stewards of the wonderful world in which we live. How are we taking care of our school, our community, our province and our world? As stewards of God's creation, we are called to make the earth a beautiful garden for the human family. ~ Pope Francis
