Bus Safety- 9th graders

9th Grade Parents and Students,

The CWSP drivers report that freshmen students are not adhering to the safety procedures during the morning and afternoon drives. Please note, failure to not adhere to safety procedures will result in Saturday detention.

  1. Students entering the bus/van should go immediately to a seat without crowding, shoving, or disturbing others.
  2. Students should remain seated at all times.
  3. Students should never distract the driver. Noise should be kept to a minimum.

Thank you students for following the rules and ensuring the safety of the van/bus!

Admissions- Refer a Friend!

Verbum Dei Parents!

I’m excited to announce a new Parent Referral Program sponsored by the Department of Catholic Schools! Effective immediately, any referrals submitted through the referral portal below will get you one step closer to winning these incentives.

Referral Portal:

· Tuition Discount: If your referral enrolls, both you and your referral will receive $100 off tuition, up to the first 100 referred enrollments

· iPad Raffle: Every referral submitted through the referral portal counts as 1 entry into the raffle, 5 winners will be randomly selected

Also, the school whose parents submit the most referrals based on the student population will receive a $3,000 technology grant — so let’s do this together!

A qualified referral counts as a friend, family member, or other acquaintance who has expressed interest in Catholic education. Once you submit a referral, both you and the referral will receive an email confirmation with the next steps.

I encourage you to participate as actively as possible, and please spread the word! Let’s help keep our schools strong and our faith alive. Thank you for all you do!

Dr. OL
