Health Office Update
Hello from the health office! This week I talked with all sixth grade students regarding immunizations. There are two required immunizations that will be needed prior to starting 7th grade, a Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) and MCV (meningococcal). Miss Katy has done a great job updating a lot of student's immunization records. We will be sending home student's immunization profiles as a reminder of which immunizations they still need. As a reminder, students will be exempt from the first day of school until we receive their immunization records and/or a notarized exemption form on file. I will be at conferences on 3/5 and 3/10 if you have any questions.
A couple of reminders - it is still chilly outside with recess, please make sure your children are wearing coats, hats, and mittens. Remind your student with the melting snow, there may be puddles outside, we ask that they stay out of them as we do not have enough clothing to replace all students that may get wet. Also, continue to check your student's head for head lice!
Have a great weekend and we'll see ya next month!!
