Student Achievement
For Earth Day, Mrs. Efstatos' class created Recycled Art projects and Up-cycled projects (reusing recyclable material for new and sometimes better things.) These are just a few of their creations.
Students in Ms. Milstead's Pre-K class, are learning about community helpers. Some students shared what they want to be when they grow up.
Mrs. Lewis' class and Ms. Sawyer's class learned about needs and wants. Here are our posters showing how we meet our needs.
Ms Webster knew she had to do something special for Mother’s Day 2020. She mailed out a copy of an All About Mom card to all of her first graders. She then had a special guest star helper on the class zoom call this past week. Owen, Ms Webster’s son, helped the first graders create a special Mother’s Day Project. The boys and girls in Ms Webster’s class were so excited to have Owen help them create a gift for their mom.
Virtual Learning Environment
Climate and Culture
We wanted to wish all of the teachers a Happy Teachers Appreciation Week! We want to let you know that during these unusual times you are not forgotten. You are appreciated now more than ever since you’ve had to adapt, adjust and learn new forms of technology to enable instruction to continue, differentiate your instruction for the virtual world and also find ways to connect with your students at a distance. Please know that you are truly helping your students be better prepared for tomorrow.
Wednesday is National Nurses Day!
Please join me in giving Ms. Ginger and Ms. Liz a great big virtual hug! Thank you for being our nurses and caring for us and our students.
Ms. Meranus had a Cinco de Mayo fiesta with her students.
Community Pride
Mrs. McCreesh's class expanded their knowledge of Earth Day by making posters of items that can be recycled. Students hung their posters near their recycling bins as a reminder to help the Earth every day!
Hello Slaybaugh Families:
Wanted to share a social media post from the EHT Wellness Campaign and ask for your support:
"A collaborative effort between The EHT Mayors Wellness Campaign and Township Committee, The EHT School District and EHT Recreation. We are asking all residents to participate in showing our solidarity. We want everyone to show your EHT Pride by decorating your homes and your property with EHT Gear. Be creative, hang a sign, display your favorite jersey and sports gear. Show your players, coaches, teams, school and community what EHT is all about. Take a picture of your display and post it to our event page using #EHTStrong. Get your neighbors, friends and family involved. Lets show the world what a great community EHT is to work and live in.
We are all in this together. We are one, We are EHT!"
Slaybaugh Renaissance will be placing signs around the community to support and show our EHT Pride.
Thank you
