BTSD Summer Academies
The BTPTA has an exciting month planned for Conley! Starting on May 10th, Mrs. O’Keefe will be taking us on a GRAND LAND ADVENTURE with the Conley Fun Run! The daily videos will showcase five national parks and are all about building character through the rugged beauty and wild wonders of the great outdoors. By exploring some of the most iconic national parks in America, students will learn how to live a life of adventure and character. On Friday, May 19th, students will be participating in the Conley Fun Run - a 35-minute fitness challenge that will raise money for all the amazing things the BTPTA does for our school! Our beloved Spring Book Fair will run from May 22nd - 25th to fill your bookshelves with great summer reads! E-wallet information and volunteer sign-ups will be available soon! https://www.scholastic.com/bf/btpta
Our final Staff Appreciation event is coming soon! Because of state testing, we will be celebrating Staff Appreciation Week the week of May 22-May 25. Staff will be treated to a week of surprises and a catered lunch. Your child can also shower their teachers and staff members with appreciation by writing them a thank you letter, drawing them a picture, bringing them a flower picked from your yard, or doing something helpful around the classroom without being asked. BTSD Summer Camp Update:
Please see the updated information below regarding Summer Camp:
1. Important - This is a reminder to parents/guardians that if you are filling out the registration form(s) for camp, it does not guarantee a spot in a particular camp until your payment is submitted. I encourage you to send in payment as soon as possible if you have already filled out a form but have not submitted the payment. Those who have submitted a payment(s) have received an email from me confirming payment.
2. Camp Creativity - The p.m. session of Camp Creativity is full. We are no longer accepting registrations or payments for this camp.
3. Camp Fun for the week of June 12-16, 2023 is full. We are no longer accepting registrations or payments for this camp.
4. Camp Happy Times - Week 2 - June 19-23, 2023 - The 2nd week of Camp Happy Times is full. We are no longer accepting registrations or payments for this camp.
5. Arcade Arcadia, Garden Gurus and the morning session of Camp Creativity - There are a number of spots still available for these camps. Sign up and send payment as soon as possible.
6. Camp Fun and Camp Longhorn - Both weeks - There are limited spots still available for these camps. Sign up and send payment as soon as possible.
Please note - If you have signed up your child/ren for a particular camp, we will notify you if it gets cancelled due to not having enough participants.
