Kindergarten Orientation - Looking Forward to the Fall
Last Friday we hosted our Kindergarten orientation (in person again, yay!). It was wonderful to meet all the Kindergarten students and their families. Once again, Chester Raccoon was up to his tricks leaving clues around the school and stamping the hands of the staff. As the future Ks moved from clue to clue, they got to explore the school and meet many of the teachers that they will see next year.
It is always very exciting for me to meet the new Ks and to see the change (even in a couple of hours) from fear to excitement. We had very few tears (Mom or child) and everyone had a great day, which ended with a great watermelon snack.
Thank you to Miss Irving for organizing a great day, Johnston Agencies for once again sponsoring the t-shirts for each student, and most especially all of the families for trusting us with their children. We are very excited to have you as a part of our Bears family.
