COVID-19 Vaccination Update
From: Indiana Department of Health <isdh@subscriptions.in.gov>
Date: Wed, Mar 24, 2021 at 5:09 PM
Subject: Important vaccination information for teens
To: <thanson@warren.k12.in.us>
March 24, 2021
Dear Superintendent:
Anyone age 16 and older will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccination in Indiana starting March 31.
Please see the attached information to share with your high school students and their parents. It has important information about how to register for vaccination. Of particular note is the fact that students younger than 18 years old must make an appointment at a site that offers the Pfizer vaccine, as it is the only shot authorized for 16- and 17-year-olds.
Thank you for your help in sharing this vital information with your students and families.
Sincerely,
Kristina Box, MD, FACOG
State Health Commissioner

May 19, 2021
Good afternoon Warren Students, Families, and Staff, this is Dr. Tim Hanson, Superintendent of Schools for MSD Warren Township with a few important announcements for the week of May 19th.
Linked here is our district newsletter for the month of May. It can also be found on our website by clicking on Newsroom under the Explore Tab.
As we head into the final two weeks of the school year, I want to encourage students to attend each day until the end of the school year. These days are important both academically and socially. Just a reminder that our students returning to Warren next year will keep their devices over the summer. We will be sharing some guidance for students and families to keep learning going over the summer. I also encourage students to keep reading over the summer.
Starting the week of June 1st, summer food distribution for all kids 18 and under will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Brookview, Pleasant Run, Renaissance, Creston, Raymond Park, Warren Central High School, and Moorhead Community Resource Center. Tuesday distribution will include 2 breakfast and 2 lunch meals. Thursdays will include 5 breakfast and 5 lunch meals.
Additionally, Moorhead Community Resource Center will remain open through the summer. If you have needs beyond what is being offered, you can call our outreach hotline at 317-608-0545 or email at MSDWarrenOutreach@warren.k12.in.us with your request. Also, MCRC will be one of our summer sites for tech support Monday - Friday from 7:30 - 1:00. If you have a tech or device need, you can also submit a help ticket through IncidentIQ support system by clicking on Technology under the Explore Tab and then select Parent Tech Info.
Have a great rest of your week and thank you for your continued investment in Warren students and schools this school year!
